Shapiro will be a hit, good fit, for March for Life

A professor has expressed concerns over Ben Shapiro being invited to speak at the upcoming March for Life but that criticism has its share of criticism, too.

Charlie Camosy, an associate professor of theology at Fordam University, wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post suggesting that Shapiro's planned March for Life appearance will alienate pro-lifers who are politically moderate or liberal.

"First," he says, "there is no one in the pro-life movement who is perfectly unifying. There is lots of internal disagreement amongst pro-lifers, and I'm sure we could all find things we could disagree with when it came to any pro-life speaker."

New points out that March for Life doesn't enjoy media coverage and suggests that an appearance by Shapiro (pictured above) could bring more visibility.

New says he plans to attend March for Life, which is scheduled for January 18.
